Megan Heintz

When Senior Editor Megan Heintz isn’t at Life & Style‘s downtown NYC office, you can catch her quietly judging people’s grammar on social media while sipping on iced coffee … or red wine, depending on the time of day. The New Jersey native most certainly keeps up with the Kardashians and knows pretty much everything there is to know about the Duggars … unfortunately. 19 Kids and Counting? Heck no! More like 19 countries and counting. Meg has traveled extensively in her 27 years of life and will check off a few more countries on her bucket list later this year. 

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Megan is an editor for In Touch, though her writing often appears on Life & Style. She began her journey as a junior editor in May 2017 and was promoted to associate editor in December 2017. She accepted her current role, senior editor, in November 2018. In addition to editing dozens of stories a week, pitching ideas to the exec. ed and posting on In Touch and Life & Style‘s social media pages, she also manages to find time to write a few pieces of her own. If you click on a story about OutDaughtered or Little People, Big World, chances are, Megan wrote it.

Every Tuesday, you can catch Megan on In Touch‘s weekly podcast, “Dishin’ on the Duggars,” where she and her fellow gals dish on, well, the Duggars. Who is pregnant this week? What stupid thing did Derick Dillard say on Twitter now? We’ve got ya covered.

Other career highlights include meeting the casts of Teen Mom/The Bachelor and filming a commercial for the MTV Movie Awards with Karlie Kloss. Turns out, Megan’s not a very good actress.

Education

Megan was a communication studies major at Fairleigh Dickinson University and minored in journalism, broadcasting … and British studies. Yes, you read that correctly! Megan managed to squeeze in a semester abroad at Wroxton College in England during her junior year. 

Work history

Megan began her career in 2013 as a production intern for MTV News before following her passion for editorial as a photo intern for both Cosmopolitan and InStyle magazines. Follow her on Insta @megan_heintz.
