An outpour of love. Several celebrities are showing support to Amy Schumer after she opened up about her In Vitro Fertilization journey in a statement via Instagram on Thursday, January 9. Selena Gomez and Tess Holliday were among the stars who left heartfelt replies on the comedian’s post about her hopes to conceive another child with her husband, Chris Fischer.

“I’m praying for you and Chris!” Selena, 27, wrote. The singer later added, “Let me clear that up. I said I’m sorry that she’s feeling that way. My mom went through the same thing. It’s hard on women’s heart.”

Tess, 34, also praised the I Feel Pretty actress for always keeping it real with her fans through the good times and hardships in her life. “I appreciate you as a mother, a woman, a public figure, your vulnerability is so powerful,” the model shared.

Katie Couric even left a sweet response of her own, writing, “You got this mama❤️❤️ Sending you lots of love.”

The mother of one, 38, shared more details about her current struggles with the fertility procedure in the caption. “I’m a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional,” Amy wrote alongside the photo of her bruised belly.

“If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn’t mind sharing your experience with me please do,” she continued. “My number is in my bio. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling.”

Back in December, the Snatch star discussed the birth of her first child, revealing that she was “throwing up the whole first hour” of her C-section. “It’s supposed to take about an hour and a half or something but mine took over three hours because of my endometriosis,” Amy shared during an interview on Dr. Berlin’s podcast.

“Chris was so great — we just stared in each other’s eyes and he just held me there,” she added.

Amy tied the knot with the chef back in 2018. The following year, she and her beau welcomed their bundle of joy, Gene, on May 5. “Our royal baby was born,” she captioned the photo.

We’re wishing them all the best.
