The newly minted parent, 38, who gave birth to her first child, Gene, on June 1, was spotted in NYC on Wednesday, June 12, proudly showing off her labor battle wound. Unlikes other celebrities — ahem, Britney Spears and Bebe Rexha — Amy has no problem sharing paparazzi pictures on her social media accounts. Taking to Instagram hours after the photos were released, the comedian uploaded a hilarious post.

“I’m really sorry if I offended anyone with my hospital underwear. Except I’m just kidding,” Amy captioned the series of photos, along with the hashtags “C-section” and “Balmain.”
