Amy Schumer Shares a Snuggle Update With Baby Gene: ‘This S—t Is Bananas’
New mama updates! Amy Schumer took to social media to share a new snuggle photo with her son, Gene, on June 2 and we really can’t get enough of these first-time mom moments.
“This s—t is 🍌,” the 38-year-old captioned the sweet Instagram photo of herself and her son snuggled up under the covers in bed with her puppy seated next to them. There’s a plate resting on Amy’s hip, and if her caption is anything to go by, she was probably chowing down on some banana. That multi-tasking mom life!
Clearly, we’re not the only ones who are absolutely loving the mom updates from the comedian — tons of her celebrity friends commented on the sweet post to share their thoughts and well wishes with Amy and Gene.
“It’s so rough, and beautiful and then super stressful and then back to full blown, heart bursting, full of love moments,” model Tess Holliday commented on the post with encouragement. “I guess I’m saying: you’re doing great 🤣💗”
Victoria’s Secret angel Lily Aldridge, a mom of two herself, also left a little love on the cute cuddle. “So cozyyyy ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she wrote.
Even singer Miley Cyrus chimed in with her own comment as a woman without a child: “That looks soooo comfy.” Amen, girl, between the snuggle sesh and the child you can give back at the end of the night, comfortable is an understatement.
Considering Amy had a rough nine months of pregnancy, it’s great to see her happy, healthy and enjoying being a mom to the fullest. The comedian suffered from severe hyperemesis, a pregnancy condition characterized by severe nausea and vomiting. The complication forced Amy to postpone and then later fully cancel her stand-up tour dates she had planned on playing while pregnant in favor of hospital visits and lots of standing still.
