Just like her latest single “thank u, next,” Ariana Grande is always showing appreciation — in this case, it’s toward her fans. The 25-year-old pop star took to Twitter to express the gratitude she feels for Arianators after releasing her very personal single.

“thank u ♡ for hearing me and for making me feel so not alone i truly am grateful. no matter how painful! i’m thankful and i love u. breathin visual this week too! thank u, next,” she tweeted Sunday, Nov. 4. The tweet comes just about 24 hours after releasing her new song which mentions all her recent exes from Big Sean, former backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, ex fiancé Pete Davidson, and late rapper Mac Miller.

It’s no surprise the pop star turns to music in difficult times as a way to cope with the passing of Mac, as well as her recent and very public split from Pete. However, this time she let it all out. Shortly after releasing her single on all streaming platforms on Saturday, Nov. 3, Pete publicly addressed his breakup from Ariana once again. “I know some of you are curious about the breakup — but the truth is, it’s nobody’s business and sometimes things just don’t work out, and that’s okay,” shared Pete on SNL. “She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Ariana seemed to slightly disagree because she spilled more tea than we’re used to seeing from her in “thank u, next.” She admitted she’s grateful for all her exes due to the lessons they each taught her — “love, patience, and pain” and even threw some harmless shade at Pete by revealing that when she does decide to get married, she hopes to do it once and make it last.

This is only one so song so far, so we can’t imagine what juicy deets she’ll unveil in her forthcoming music!
