Pop icon Beyoncé once said, “I’ve never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry.” But she’s more than enjoying the fruits of her labor! The Formation singer, 36, and hubby JAY-Z, 47, recently scooped up a stunning vacation home in East Hampton, NY, for $26 million.
Named “Pond House” due to its location on exclusive Georgica Pond, the property was built more than a century ago and gives a nod to its heritage with features like Louis XV carved-stone fireplaces and 30-foot coffered ceilings. The five-bedroom, nine-bathroom house is anything but dated, though.
A complete home automation center — plus a high-end kitchen and floors with radiant heating — bring the pad into the present day for the Carter family, which includes daughter Blue Ivy, 5, and four-month-old twins Rumi and Sir. Outside, there’s a 45-foot-long swimming pool, a limestone-paved terrace, and a grilling station that — along with a new 1,800-square-foot, two-bedroom guest house — make entertaining a breeze.
