Congrats are in order for Burt Jenner and his girlfriend, Valerie Pitalo! The duo welcomed their second child into the world last week, and now Caitlyn Jenner is getting to meet him. The 69-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday, February 17, to share photos of the tiny tot.
“Welcome to the world William Behr Jenner,” she captioned the album. “Congratulations @burtonjenner and @valeriepitalo !! Love you guys.” Aww. Burt, 40, who is Caitlyn’s first child with ex-wife Chrystie Scott, likely named his baby boy after Cait, whose birth name was William Bruce Jenner.
The race car driver shared an adorable Instagram video featuring his other son Bodhi, 2, cuddling his new brother. “So far so easy … Only 17 years 364 days to go!” Burt joked.
Just last week, Caitlyn posted a sweet tribute to another grandchild, Stormi, who recently celebrated her 1st birthday. “Beyond proud of my amazing daughter for all of her accomplishments, but especially proud of what an amazing mom she is to her little girl!” she wrote about Kylie Jenner. “And what a great birthday party!! Happy first birthday Stormi!”
But don’t expect the I Am Cait star to give a shout out to Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson‘s daughter, True, anytime soon. A source told Life & Style last year, “When Cait and Sophia [Hutchins] went splurging on gifts for Stormi, they splurged on True too,” before adding, “Cait’s got a house full of surprises for True, so you’d think she’d just had a baby herself!”
Unfortunately, Caitlyn may have jumped the gun. Khlo revealed back in February 2018 that having her daughter wouldn’t change their estranged relationship. During an interview with Ross King on the UK’s Lorraine, Koko was asked how having a child would affect things between her and Cait. “I don’t think that affects anything with Caitlyn. No, yeah, [things are] just as they are,” she said bluntly.
Oh no! Here’s to hoping they work things out one day for the sake of baby True.
