LOLKylie Jenner Calls Heinous Grammys Look One of Her ‘Faves’ in Thankful IG Post
We’re not exactly surprised. Leave it up to Kylie Jenner, one of the world’s most influential fashion icons, to admit that she was totally in love with her 2019 Grammys look that fans and followers loved, well, a whole lot less.
“This look is going down as one of my favvvv [sic] red carpets! Thank you @olivier_rousteing for letting me borrow this gorgeous @balmain couture for the night. You killed it [with] thisss 💕✨,” the 21-year-old captioned a photoset of a few shots of the look on her Instagram on February 15.
The Balmain Haute Couture piece from their 2019 Spring collection definitely looked high fashion, but that doesn’t mean it was the right move for the new mama … or anyone. People flew to the comments section of the new post to let Ky know how they felt about the outfit, and spoiler alert, most of it wasn’t great.
“Girl, you look like chewed up bubblegum,” one commenter wrote, while another chimed in, “No, sweetie, this look was a Choice.” LOL, sorry Kylie, but we’re dying here.
Not everyone totally panned the ~lewk~ though. “Looking like a pink power ranger!!! 🥊#gogopowerrangers #loveit,” one fan wrote in support. “Rocked it … chic and elegant,” another commenter said.
The response was pretty much the same when the KUWTK star debuted the outfit on Grammys night. When she hit the red carpet with her baby daddy, rapper Travis Scott, some fans even suspected the makeup mogul was wearing the ill-fitting piece because she might be expecting again.
“Is she pregnant again? So not flattering,” someone wrote on IG about the ‘fit on the night of the big event.
Either way, if Ky keeps it up, she might lose her status as one of the top fashion influencers — a report even claims she holds more weight in the style world than the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and we all know what a style queen she is. No pun intended.
