Once again, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes collaborated on a new track called “Señorita,”and the music video will have you sweating. The bop/video, which was released on Friday, June 21, showcases a side we’ve never seen of the duo, who basically play two people lusting over each other.

The track gives off a Latin vibe, very much like Camila’s biggest hit, “Havana.” However, adding Shawn into the mix, as well as the song’s lyrics, give it a more sultry touch.

The 5H alum, 22, kicks off the song, then Shawn, 20, follows and by the time the chorus hits, they both jump onboard. “I love it when you call me señorita/ I wish I could pretend I didn’t need ya,” they sing in unison. “But every touch is ooh-la-la-la/ It’s true, la-la-la/ Ooh, I should be runnin’/ Ooh, you know I love it when you. call me señorita I wish it wasn’t so damn hard to leave ya/ But every touch is ooh-la-la-la/ It’s true, la-la-la/ Ooh, I should be runnin’/ Ooh, you keep me coming for ya.”

Their chemistry in the music video may lead you to believe these two pop stars are dating, but it’s all professional here. Besides, Camila is currently dating Matthew Hussey. If anything, her relationship with Shawn in the music video suggests they are pretty close in real life. How else would they have felt so comfortable filming those hot scenes, which almost includes a makeout session?

Canadian fury + Latin sass

Camila and Shawn first joined forces in 2015, when they collaborated on “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” which was sort of like a breakup anthem — opposite of their new single. The musicians first teased “Señorita” in December 2018, when they shared a photo of themselves singing and playing the guitar. “Canadian fury + Latin sass,” Camila captioned the photo at the time. It was worth the wait!
