Tia Booth Thinks Bachelor Colton Underwood Is There For The Wrong Reasons (EXCLUSIVE)
Every season of The Bachelor, there are plenty of contestants accused of being there for the “wrong reasons.” This season, though, the bulk of suspicion falls on the Bachelor himself. And it’s not just fans wondering if Colton Underwood is on TV for the wrong reasons. His ex Tia Booth is wondering if he’s got some kind of ulterior motive, too.
Though Bachelor Nation has yet to recover from the whiplash that came from watching him go back and forth between The Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin and Tia, one of her best friends, the 26-year-old former NFL player has begun filming the newest season of The Bachelor. We’ve even already met some of his contestants on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and seen spoilers from filming as the “journey” begins. But according to reports, it’s a journey that Tia fears could end in tears — and not Colton’s.

Though she initially praised her ex for securing the starring role, it seems that her BFF Raven Gates‘ words from Paradise have finally gotten through to her. “Colton’s smart. All his moves were well calculated,” a source tells Life & Style. “After getting eliminated on The Bachelorette, he joined Tia in Bachelor in Paradise, and then broke up with her just in time to get his own show. It’s no wonder she doesn’t feel like he’s ready [for a serious relationship].”
According to the source, Tia is sure he’ll leave the women heartbroken, and she’s not the only one! Former Bachelors Nick Viall and Ben Higgins also think Colton’s too indecisive for the role, and Bachelorette alum Dean Unglert predicts this season will be “a dumpster fire.” Yeah, he went there. His big problem is that he also just doesn’t think that the athlete-turned-reality star is ready to settle down. “I don’t necessarily see him marrying the woman he chooses,” says Dean. “I don’t think he knows exactly what he wants.”
Other reports indicate that some of the women on his season might be catching on, too. Spoiler alert! Reality Steve aleady reported that one of the women from Colton’s season apparently dumped him, calling him “weird as s–t.” That’s hardly a ringing endorsement for a dude that like 30 different women are supposed to fall madly in love with. Is it too late to recast the role?
