Gigi Hadid Dodges ‘Bachelorette’ Star and Ex Tyler Cameron at NYFW Event
Whew, close call! Model Gigi Hadid dodged ex Tyler Cameron during a New York Fashion Week event on February 6. The pair split back in October 2019 after dating for two months. Since then, they stopped following each other on social media and the catwalk queen has reunited with her longtime on-again, off-again boyfriend, Zayn Malik. Luckily, any awkward encounter between the exes was avoided because they were able to strategically skirt crossing paths.
“Tyler was there with a male friend all night,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly about the former couple at the Bvlgari B. Zero Collection Launch at Brooklyn Navy Yard. “Gigi was on a raised platform with Bella [Hadid] above the dance floor. They were dancing together and laughing.”
Tyler, 27, and Gigi, 24, heated up quickly. After their first date, they were spotted canoodling all over NYC. However, things quickly fizzled after a source exclusively told Life & Style that the pair’s “busy schedules” were causing them to spend a lot of time apart. Although they never confirmed their romance publicly, the Bachelor Nation stud gushed to in September 2019 that his ~friend~ Gigi was an “amazing person.”
Since going their separate ways, Tyler has been linked to ‘s BFF . Rumors first started in November 2019 when Hannah Brown‘s ex was caught kissing a mystery blonde, who appeared to be the close pal of the KUWTK star. They have been spotted partying around Los Angeles together on a few occasions after. However, during the “Morning Toast” podcast on February 6, he noted that he’s open to dating “anybody.”
As for Gigi and the former One Direction artist, her family is less than thrilled about another reconciliation between the two, a source exclusively confessed to Life & Style at the end of January. “Gigi’s family is convinced that the relationship will end in tears,” the insider admitted. “No one’s told her to dump Zayn, but they’ve definitely hinted at it.”
The runway maven’s mom, , is especially protective of her gorgeous daughter. “Yolanda was there for Gigi when they last split and spent hours consoling her daughter … [She] doesn’t think Zayn is The One,” the source added about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum. A second source noted that the lovebirds are “taking it slow” so time will tell what unfolds.
A lot is happening in Gigi and Tyler’s romantic lives, but it looks like their chapter is officially closed.
