Fans started freaking out after Halsey‘s new tracklist for Manic included a song called “Dominic’s Interlude.” It seemed to be a nod at her ex-boyfriend Yungblud (real name Dominic Harrison), but that doesn’t appear to *actually* be the case. The songstress dropped the 16 song titles on December 3, and there is already a ton of anticipation for the January 17 release date.

So, is “Dominic’s Interlude” written by or about the 22-year-old English rock star? The exes are featured on the songs “11 Minutes” and “I Will Follow You Into the Dark” together. They just publicly announced their split in October, and it’s not out of the question that there may be a lingering track that still needs to be released. However, the songstress, 25, tagged Florida rapper Dominic Fike in the announcement on Instagram so it looks like she’s leaving her past … in the past.

“OK, I had the wrong Dominic in mind but you know what, it’s still f–king cute,” one person confessed on Twitter. “I screamed when Halsey wrote out ‘Dominic’s Interlude’ but it’s not our Dom so it’s OK,” another person echoed. “I forgot Halsey’s friends with Dominic Fike,” a separate tweet read.

Halsey and Evan Peters Red Carpet Debut

The Grammy nominee recently took her new relationship with Evan Peters public at the American Horror Story 100th episode celebration on October 26. The pair walked the red carpet together dressed as Cher and her late ex-husband, Sonny Bono.

Rumors first started swirling that Halsey and Yungblud broke up when the songstress was seen out with Evan, 32, in September, but attending the AHS event definitely raised a few eyebrows since they never fully confirmed their split. “Sometimes people just break up,” Halsey wrote in a since-deleted tweet on October 28. “It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f–ked up. Sometimes it just happens because life is constantly changing and adults stay friends and move on.”

Although Yungblud won’t be featured on the new album, Halsey had a lot of surprises up her sleeve. Alanis Morissette also has her own interlude and BTS’ Suga will also make an appearance.

Basically, prepare yourself because it’s going to be epic!
