When Halsey rose to fame in 2015 after releasing her debut album, Badlands, she also became widely recognized for her unique taste in style. The thing that stands out the most about her is her ability to look effortlessly cool while always encouraging authenticity. Whether she’s rockin’ wigs, body hair, showing off her curves or simply keeping it casual, Halsey isn’t afraid to keep it real, and it shows. That’s why fans are so drawn to what she wears.

For the June cover issue of Rolling Stone, Halsey graced the cover in a white tank top — confidently showing off some visible armpit hair. This caused many celebs to respond with praise. “There [is] so much yes about this picture. I don’t know where to start,” Demi Lovato commented on the Instagram post of the cover photo. Zara Larsson took to Twitter to share her thoughts over Halsey’s decision to stay in her natural element. “I loooove the fact that they didn’t edit the armpits like most magazines would do,” she wrote at the time. “Women are not little babies who don’t have body hair. Stunning cover.”

While many were quick to criticize Halsey for keeping the stubble, she showed the haters she is unbothered when she shared two more photos on social media of her armpit hair. “The more things seem to change, the more they stay the same,” she captioned it.

Besides being musically gifted, Halsey’s bold fashion sense has gotten her far. She performed at the 2018 Victoria Secret Fashion Show wearing feather eyebrows. While it was a risky look, it looked great on her.

That wasn’t the only time Halsey was involved in a major fashion event. Most recently, she attended Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show on September 10 rockin’ a purple pajama-inspired outfit. Besides looking amazing on the red carpet, Halsey wowed the audience with her performance of “Graveyard.” Clearly, it was a success. “Thank you @badgalriri for having me at the most amazing, inspiring show I have ever witnessed let alone been a part of,” she captioned a post on Instagram. “Y’all are NOT! READY! @savagexfenty congrats on an incredible night.”
