If there’s any superstar who consistently turns heads with her style, it’s Rihanna! The singer-turned-entrepreneur is the queen of the red carpet, and few celebrities have the confidence combined with an innate sense of style to have had so many iconic fashion moments over the years as she had.

Rihanna has always shone the most brightly when it comes to the annual Met Gala. In 2015, when the theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass,” RiRi arrived in a stunning yellow cape with a massive train and a fur lining. It featured silver embroidered feathery patterns and has gone down as one of the most iconic Met Gala outfits of all time.

“I’m so in love with this dress, but the train is insane!” Rihanna told VF.com on the red carpet. “I can’t really walk in it without any help — but it’s so worth it. I love this dress so much! It’s Chinese couture and it’s made by Guo Pei. It’s handmade by one Chinese woman and it took her two years to make. I found it online.”

Rihanna also turned heads when picking up the 2014 CFDA Fashion Icon of the Year Award in her “naked dress.” The Adam Selman design was made up of fishnet covered with 230,000 Swarovski crystals. It was completely see-through, and the only thing the “Work” singer wore underneath was a nude-colored thong. But she regretted how tame that little element was.

“Could you imagine the CFDA dress with a bra?” she asked during a 2016 interview with Vogue. “I would slice my throat. I already wanted to for wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled. That’s the only regret I have in my life.”

While Rihanna seems to have stepped away from music for now, as she hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti, she’s still a fashion queen. Thanks to the empire she’s built with her lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, and her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, she’s still a red carpet staple.

When she launched Fenty Beauty during New York Fashion Week in 2017, Rihanna donned a canary yellow ensemble featuring long sleeved T-shirt tied at the waist with a dramatic Oscar de la Renta ball gown with a thigh-high slit. There’s no other star who loves fashion as much as Rihanna and the “Wild Thoughts” singer lets it show every time she dresses up!
