All this royal wedding hubbub will probably make for great ratings for Suits! Meghan Markle is set to marry Prince William on May 19, but before that happens, we'll see her back on the USA legal drama. Yes, Meghan Markle is still on Suits, but only for six more episodes — and those installments kicked off this week, on March 28, when Season 7 resumed.

Even more excitingly, this week's episode foreshadowed how Suits will bid farewell to her character, Rachel Zane, and her on-screen love interest, Mike Ross, played by fellow departing cast member Patrick J. Adams. "We lay the groundwork in a subtle way, and then we also have some actual logistical things that happen within the show," Suits creator Aaron Korsh told TVLine. "But if we hadn't made the announcement that they were leaving, I do not think you would have seen them leaving coming."

Fans are hoping the two characters will finally tie the knot before the end of the season, and Aaron does say the two characters have marriage on their minds. "The front half of Season 7 was them saying, 'Let's put [the wedding] to the side a little bit,' and then the back half of Season 7 is them saying, 'Let's put it on the front burner a little bit,'" he teased.

We've known Meghan would be leaving Suits since November: The news of her departure came just one day after she and Prince Harry announced their engagement. Meanwhile, Patrick revealed his exit from the long-running drama in January, on the day the show was renewed for an eighth season. And Aaron made sure to praise both actors, who have been on the show since day one. "I would like to thank Patrick and Meghan for their extraordinary contributions over the last seven years," he said in a statement. "Not only have they been outstanding in their roles as Mike and Rachel, they are also superb human beings who will always be beloved members of the Suits family."

Aaron and the other writers have already filled the void Meghan and Patrick left behind, however. Recurring guest stars Dulé Hill and Amanda Schull have been promoted to series regular status, and Grey's Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl is joining the show as "a talented new partner at Pearson Specter Litt who challenges the status quo and will either become the firm's greatest ally or most powerful enemy," as USA hypes. That Suits us just fine!
