Jana Kramer Reveals the ‘Regret’ She Has for Getting Breast Augmentation, Shares Desire for Removal
Jana Kramer didn’t hide the news of her boob job in 2021, but the One Tree Hill actress does “regret” the reason she decided to undergo the breast augmentation.
“My biggest regret with my boobs is that I don’t know if I solely did it for me,” Jana, 41, admitted during the Monday, February 24, episode of her “Whine Down” podcast. “I think that’s what I could say would be my biggest piece of advice. It has to be one hundred percent for you.”
So, who did Jana undergo the plastic surgery procedure for? Her third ex-husband, Mike Caussin, whom she divorced in 2021 after six years of marriage. The former couple separated due to Mike’s alleged infidelity amid his struggle with sex addiction. They share two kids, daughter Jolie Rae Caussin, 9, and son Jace Caussin, 6.
During the podcast episode, Jenna shared that she would see the women Mike, 37, cheated with and often thought, “I look nothing like them.”
“I thought about it for a while, like, maybe if I had bigger boobs, he wouldn’t cheat or he’d find me sexier or something like that,” the “I Got the Boy” singer said, later revealing that she “had a lot of fun with them post-divorce because Mike never actually got to feel them … which was glorious.”
With the desire to revert to the “natural” life, Jenna doesn’t think she’ll get her breast implants back in when “that time comes for [her] to take them out and redo them again.”
Although Jana and Mike divorced in 2021, they had issues in their marriage almost immediately after saying “I Do.” In August 2016, seven months after Jolie was born, Jana and Mike separated. Shortly after, Us Weekly reported that the former NFL star cheated on the Country Crush actress with a handful of women – and also revealed he checked into a treatment center for sex addiction.
One month later, Jana filed for divorce from Mike, but quickly dismissed the filing two days later. Mike and Jana reconciled in 2017 and grew their family when Jace was born the following November. However, the family patriarch’s battle with sex addiction was still an obstacle that he had difficulty overcoming. Jana filed for divorce for the second and final time in April 2021. It was finalized three months later.
“‘It’s time.’ As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality,” Jana wrote via Instagram at the time. “I’ve fought y’all. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”
Jana and Mike have since found a steady route of partnership as they amicably coparent their children.
The Heart of the Country actress has since remarried and she wed husband No. 4, Allan Rusell, in July 2024. Jana shares one child, son Roman James Russell, with the professional soccer coach.
In October 2024, Jana exclusively told Life & Style how she and Allan, 44, stay in the honeymoon stage amid raising a family following their wedding bliss.
“[We have] at least one date night every other week,” she said at the time. “It’s important to us.”
