Jennifer Lawrence and Soon-To-Be Hubby Cooke Maroney Celebrate Their Engagement in NYC
Cheers to the almost-newlyweds! Jennifer Lawrence and her fiancé, Cooke Maroney, celebrated their engagement with a fabulous party in NYC on Sunday, May 12. Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson, close friends and stylists of the 28-year-old actress, shared a darling photo of Jennifer on Instagram.
The soon-to-be bride looked ethereal in a pink, L. Wells Bridal dress accessorized with a Roger Vivier handbag and Casadei heels. “Here she comes! We couldn’t be happier and more excited for [Jennifer Lawrence] to become a [Mrs.],” the pair captioned the snapshot. “This weekend we toasted Jen and her groom-to-be … too good of a time was had by all.”
Unsurprisingly, plenty of fans flocked to the post to fawn over Jennifer’s special moment. “She looks radiant. So incredibly happy for her. She deserves the world!” one user commented. “Congratulations to the most beautiful bride-to-be! Wishing her all the best,” added another.
Wishing her all the best, indeed! It was clear from the beginning of Jennifer and Cooke’s whirlwind romance that the pair was meant to be. “They’re the perfect couple,” an insider previously dished to Life & Style. “[Jen] says that she knew pretty quickly that he was the one,” the insider continued. “His family adores her and vice versa.”
Now, as much as we love sitting here and admiring Jen and Cooke’s storybook love, the real question is, when are they actually walking down the aisle?! While we can’t be certain, most engagement parties take place anywhere from a few weeks to six months ahead of the wedding. Of course, we’re sincerely hoping for the former.
Considering Jennifer’s bestie (and hero, basically) Kris Jenner is said to have helped her with the planning, we have no doubt that her nuptials will be the most stunning celebrity event of the season.
