Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s ‘Flip the Switch’ Challenge Is the Best Thing You’ll See All Day
If you haven’t been living under a rock in the last few weeks, you may have noticed the internet is all about the ‘Flip the Switch’ TikTok Challenge. Your favorite celebs, including Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, have participated in the hilarious stunt, and it’s everything.
The challenge basically consists of two people in front of a mirror dancing to Quavo and Drake‘s “Flip the Switch,” then when the beat drops, they ~flip~ positions and exchange their outfits. So in the video Jen, 50, uploaded on Sunday, March 8, she was dancing while A-Rod, 44, held the camera. When it was time to switch things around, Alex took Jen’s place, which consisted of him rockin’ her very tight-fitted outfit. Needless to say, their take on this is hilarious and it may be the best one yet.
We love that this power couple can always be silly together, and we bet it has to do with the strong connection they share. “We’re very similar,” the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer told GQ in November 2019. “We’re really alike in our drive, in our ambition. He’s an athlete. He wanted to be the best. I’m the same way. I just want to be great at what I do. We’re both like that. We’re both super-hard workers. We’re driven by our passions. And we have a tremendous amount of respect for each other.”
Jennifer and Alex began dating in 2017, and by March 2019, they were engaged. While neither of them have confirmed when they’re planning to walk down the aisle, it’s quite possible they may wed this summer. And of course, they’re planning to go all out on their big day. They’re splurging an estimated “$3 million” on their wedding, a source exclusively shared with Life & Style in February.
“Everyone’s buzzing that they’ve already rented a luxe mega-yacht to hold the wedding on, off the coast of Miami — just like with her afterparty,” the insider continued. “No expense is being spared.”
We can already tell this will be the wedding of the year. We can’t wait!
