HmmKaitlyn Bristowe Dropped a Clue About Shawn Booth Not Being Ready for Marriage
Hmm … Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe just dropped a subtle clue on Instagram that her ex-fiancée, Shawn Booth, may not have actually been ready for marriage. This could definitely be another reason why their three-year relationship didn’t work out.
There was a post floating around that asked fans how they would feel about the possibility of the athletic trainer being the next leading man on The Bachelor. “I’ll pass,” a Bachelor Nation fan page commented. “I’m sure there’s a better physical trainer that’s pretending to be ready for marriage that we haven’t met yet.” Surprisingly, Kaitlyn hit the tiny heart and liked it.
Was it a pretty salty comment to like? Maybe, but the reality starlet admitted in the past that a big reason for their split was that they just “weren’t on the same page.”
“It’s been a really hard few months now. I really did think we’d get through it,” she candidly admitted back in November to her Off The Vine listeners. She recalled that while on a trip to Canada, the pair realized they were at a “crossroads.”
When it came down to it, “there were some important fundamental values that weren’t lining up” and there were “some things we’d probably never see eye-to-eye on,” the podcast host divulged.
She confessed, “I want to reiterate to people, what you saw on social media was real and what we had was real love. But when it comes to roadblocks, and those fundamental values and again, getting through things together, I just don’t think we were on the same page — and it’s painful to admit that.” She also noted, “But you need that foundation and you need that partnership if it’s going to last forever.”
Now, Kaitlyn is in a happy relationship with fellow show alum Jason Tartick. The two have been seeing each other for a couple of months and seem like they’re having a great time.
