Is it time for baby No. 4? We hope so! Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed Prince Louis into the world less than three months ago, but apparently they’re already looking to have another child. Sources tell Life & Style that the royal couple is hoping to give Princess Charlotte a little sister. “They’d love to have two boys and two girls,” the insider says, noting that Kate, 36, has a very close relationship with her little sister, Pippa, 34. “It’s important to Kate for her own children to have a similar bond with their siblings, and she knows it’s more likely to happen if they’re close in age.”

But those thoughts might become a reality for the Duchess of Cambridge sooner than we think. According to the source, there’s a good chance she already has a bun in the oven! “Those close to Kate are saying she’s pregnant with baby No. 4,” the source shares. “Kate is showing all the signs of pregnancy, and she and William have always said they wanted four children to complete their family. Actually, William would like to have five kids — but Kate thinks four is enough!”

As for the signs she’s expecting, sources say there’s a few. “She’s wearing loose-fitted clothing again, avoiding alcohol, and craving curry, which she often does when pregnant,” the source explains. She’s also been eating lavender biscuits, the source adds, which help with morning sickness.

The biggest sign? “Although Kate’s currently on maternity leave, she had the option of making an appearance at Charles’ 70th birthday party in late May, but one of the reasons for her not attending was that she was exhausted and felt sick,” the insider says. Kate has suffered from severe morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum) in the past with each of her pregnancies.

Of course, dealing with a pregnancy while taking care of her three children — Prince George, 4, Prince Louis, two months, and Princess Charlotte, 3 — can be overwhelming. Luckily, she has plenty of people to lean on for support. “Kate has plenty of help,” the source says. “[Her mother] Carole often comes to London to look after the grandkids and they would also look into hiring an assistant nanny for Maria.”

Regardless, Kate and William are “confident that having another baby won’t be an issue.” We’re excited to (hopefully) watch Princess Charlotte become a big sis!
