When Khloé Kardashian named her newborn baby girl True Thompson, she had one thing on her mind — to get back at her cheating boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. A source exclusively told Life & Style Weekly that the reality star picked the moniker to low-key hurt the NBA star, who was recently caught being disloyal through a series of photos and videos just days before KoKo gave birth.

"In the back of her mind, she knows the name will tug at Tristan's soul every time he sees his daughter and hopes that will help him to be a true person," the insider revealed. "Clearly, he's failed and Khloé's still so incredibly hurt. All Khloé ever wanted in life was a man that would be true, truthful, and trustworthy." We feel you, girl.

Khloé gave birth on Thursday, April 12, and took to Instagram on Monday, April 16 to confirm the exciting news with a photo of light pink balloons. "Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!" she wrote on the social media platform. The cryptic post left many fans wondering if she plans on forgiving Tristan despite his many infidelities.

But luckily for the blonde beauty, the name True is a double-whammy — it's a way to shame Tristan and it has family history. Her momager, Kris Jenner, shared the sweet meaning on Instagram after her daughter's post: "I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton… my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton… so I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!" she wrote.

Despite the controversial name, the new bundle of joy actually takes after her famous daddy. "He was happy to see his daughter and was overjoyed," an insider told Life & Style of his first moments with True. "She has his eyes and he couldn’t stop gushing over her." We can't wait to see the first photo!
