Kylie Jenner Reveals Her ‘Must-Have’ Items in New ‘What’s in My Bag’ Tour: ‘I Have a Lot of Stuff’

While a lot of young professionals are known to just shove everything they own in their bags and head out the door, Kylie Jenner’s system is a bit more thought out. Plus, the longtime Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 23, carries a designer purse worth more than your car. (No, we’re not kidding.)

“This is the bag I’m carrying today,” Kylie began her updated “What’s in My Bag” tour in a September 15 YouTube video. “This actually is one of my very first Birkin bags. Surprisingly, Kris Jenner told me to buy this bag because it’s the ‘so black’ edition and they’re really rare.” According to several listings on The RealReal, a used version of Kylie’s Birkin costs $40,000.

“She was like, ‘There’s this bag available. I think you need it … these bags are great investments,’” the almost-billionaire recalled her mom explaining. “So Kris Jenner told me to buy this bag — and when Kris Jenner tells you to do something, you do it.” Earlier in Kylie’s career, spending that kind of money on a purse may have been a big deal but nowadays, it’s basically petty cash.

“It’s beyond belief how fabulous her world is now. While she was always confident that she’d be rich, she never expected she’d be this successful,” a source previously told Life & Style.  “While her closets are to die for, there isn’t enough room to fit all the shoes she owns — there are well over a thousand pairs. She spends at least $300,000 on fashion every week. She has rooms full of things she’s only worn once.”

When Kylie isn’t dropping thousands on high-fashion duds, the reality TV personality is looking for ways to grow her empire … literally! “She wants to continue to expand her portfolio — within California and in other states and countries,” noted the source. “She’s even considering buying a private island and turning it into a retreat so she can relax without being disturbed.”
