Prior to the singer’s relationship with Maya, he was with Cheryl Cole for two years. The former couple share a 2-year-old son together named Bear. Liam announced his breakup from Cheryl, 36, in July 2018. “It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family,” he wrote on Twitter. “Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”

After declaring his breakup, he was soon seen with Maya in August 2018. “I’m very happy right now,” Liam said on KISS FM UK’s Kiss Breakfast on Wednesday, September 18, where he confirmed that the two are indeed an item.
