It’s almost time! Meghan Markle is due to give birth in late April or Early May, and the world can’t help but wonder what the royal baby will be named. Prince Harry and the duchess, 37, have kept most of the important details regarding their bundle of joy a secret, keeping fans on their toes. Check out some of the names we think would suit the bundle of joy perfectly, below.

Diana

It’s quite possible Harry, 34, may want to honor his late mother, who passed away in a car crash in 1997. Princess Diana, who was known as the people’s princess, was rebellious and set in her ways. Many compare her to Meghan because in less than a year since she married Harry and joined the royal family, she’s challenged royal protocol repeatedly. For starters, she’s been quite the risk taker when it comes to fashion and personal style, resembling her late mother-in-law.

Charles

If the baby is a boy, the couple may want to go with their dad/dad-in-law’s name, which also happens to be traditional. For the royal wedding in May 2018, Prince Charles stepped in for Meghan’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, and walked Meg down the aisle. Ever since then, the two seemed to share a close bond. He reportedly even gifted her a diamond bracelet as wedding gift, which she’s been seen wearing multiple times.

Elizabeth

Another royal to have gifted Meghan diamonds is Queen Elizabeth A.K.A. Harry’s grandmother. As the longest-reigning British monarch, it wouldn’t be shocking for the future parents to name their child Elizabeth. Something tells us the baby will be destined to greatness and this name would be appropriate.

Doria

Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, may be the only relative she is close to. They have an amazing relationship, and because of that, the former actress may want to pay tribute to her when welcoming the new generation.

Rachel

Rachel is not only the name of the character she played on the TV series Suits, but it’s also her real first name. She identifies herself as Meghan, which is her middle name, so maybe she’d want for her child to take on the name her parents gave her at birth.

James

Meghan and Harry could opt for a name that has nothing to do with their immediate relatives. Though James is technically a traditional name, it’s also considered modern to many.

Regardless of what Meghan and Harry decide to name their baby, we’re sure it will be great!
