Kate Middleton Wants To Throw Meghan Markle An ‘Extra Special’ Baby Shower (EXCLUSIVE)
That’s what sisters-in-law are for! Kate Middleton is throwing Meghan Markle, 37, a baby shower fit for a princess at Kensington Palace early next year, Life & Style magazine has learned. As it’s the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child, “Kate is going all out to make it extra special — a truly unforgettable day,” reveals a palace insider.
“She’s a complete perfectionist and has already begun planning the celebration months in advance. Duchess Kate considered having the shower at Soho Farmhouse, but thinks it’ll be easier to host it at her Kensington Palace apartment.” Calling their bond “togetherness at its finest,” the 36-year old mom of three “has been Meghan’s rock during the pregnancy. She’s been turning to Kate for all kinds of baby advice,” says the insider. “It’ll mean the world to Meghan — and Prince Harry — once they find out that Kate’s gone out of her way to organize the shower.”
According to the royal insider, “it’ll be a daytime event and guests, including Meghan’s pals Jessica Mulroney, Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, will be treated to an American-style feast.” Though she’ll one day be known as the queen of England, Prince William’s wife “wants Meghan and all her girlfriends from across the pond,” says the insider, “to feel right at home on the big day.”
Now that Prince Harry and Meghan have completed their royal tour down under, they will join Prince William and Kate at the Festival of Remembrance Service next week, Nov. 10, according to Hello magazine. The last time they had an official engagement together was in July for a service in honor of the Royal Force. Perhaps this will give the two Duchesses some time to bond and discuss some baby shower details!
