Pregnant Meghan Markle’s Plans For Her Baby Are ‘Causing Real Controversy’ In The Palace, Source Says
Tensions are high at Kensington Palace! According to Grazia magazine, Meghan Markle‘s pregnancy plans are causing more than just a stir.
“Meghan’s already drawing up a plan for the birth and beyond, and it’s unlike anything the royal family has ever seen,” an insider revealed to the publication. “She wants to break with tradition in so many ways — she wants to reflect the modern woman, and has had enough of the pressure on her to adhere to tired conventions,” the insider continued.
Up to this point, the former Suits actress has seemingly appeased the royal family and their ways, but when it comes to her first child with Prince Harry, perhaps she’s had enough. “Meghan doesn’t wait for anyone’s opinion, she just decides how things should be,” the insider added, noting that her biggest battle is where the Duchess will give birth.
“She is a huge advocate of home births, but British royals are expected to give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London,” the insider explained. “Meghan doesn’t want what she calls a ‘medicalized’ birth, and instead wants to have a Pool set up in a relaxing environment. Even Harry found this surprising, but Megs wants to ensure her birth is as natural as possible.”
Additionally, the 37-year-old is already planning for what’s to come after her baby arrives. “She’s spoken about wanting to breastfeed in public to help normalize it, and wants Harry to be seen carrying their baby — she’s making him practice with his nephew Prince Louis,” the insider said.
Hmmm, this all sounds very progressive, if you ask us. Question is, how do those around Meghan feel about it? “Her plans are causing real controversy,” the insider claimed. Well, with the baby expected to be due in Spring 2019, we hope things are settled by then.
