Miley Cyrus Is Still ‘Very Sexually Attracted to Women’ Despite Marriage to Liam Hemsworth: ‘I Made a Partner Decision’
Living her truth. Miley Cyrus confirmed that she’s still very much into women, even though she decided to get married to her longtime love, Liam Hemsworth. The songstress gushed about her special connection with the actor and explained that they are reinventing being “Mr. and Mrs.” on their own terms. The couple tied the knot back in December 2018 after almost a decade together.
“I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique,” the 26-year-old explained to Elle during an interview that was published on Thursday, July 11. “I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it. I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f—king apron cooking dinner?”
Despite their relationship looking traditional by social norm standards, the Black Mirror star assured that she’s still the same person she’s always been. “I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women. People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still f—king good, and I know that. I made a partner decision,” she divulged. Miley dated model Stella Maxwell for a few months back in 2015 but got back together with the Hunger Games actor by Christmas of that same year.
Two years later, the former Disney kid seemingly addressed her fling with the blonde beauty and why she rekindled her romance with Liam on the track “She’s Not Him” on her album Younger Now. “No matter what you say, no matter what you do, I just can’t fall in love with you, because you’re not …” she soulfully sings before repeating, “She’s not him.”
Miley confessed to Elle that her husband is her life partner, even if she never plans on fitting into a mold. “This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word,” she told the publication.
