Miley Cyrus Asks the Jonas Brothers Everyone’s Burning Question: ‘Did It Feel So Good Taking Off Your Purity Rings?’
Straight to the point! When the Jonas Brothers appeared on Capital FM’s breakfast show, they received a surprise question from Miley Cyrus — and the pop star did not hesitate to ask them about their purity rings.
“My question for the Jonas Brothers is: did it feel so good taking off your purity ring?” she asked before changing her tone and repeating herself, this time implying something else. “And did it feel so good taking off your purity ring, you know what I’m saying,” said the 26-year-old. Joe Jonas was quick to reply. “Um, yes,” he answered for himself and his bros.
We are living for the nostalgia. About a decade ago, Miley and the Jonas Brothers were pretty tight, especially because she dated Nick Jonas off and off for a few years. However, there are no hard feelings there, and that also seems to be the case with other former Disney stars. Miley was also interviewed by Capital FM, during which she was asked about her relationship with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. To several fans’ surprise, Miley revealed she never had any problems with the two pop stars, both 26, despite what people believed at the time.
“I think that you’re allowed to enjoy two artists that feel in a similar lane,” said the 26-year-old, referring to Selena and Demi. “I grew up collaborating with Demi and Selena. There was never any competition,” she added. People assumed Selena and Miley didn’t get along because they both dated Nick, and Demi was Selena’s bestie, so by association it was believed they had beef. However, the opposite has been proven true numerous times.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer recently took to Twitter to play with the lyrics of her latest single “Cattitude,” and gave both Selena and Demi a playful shout-out. “I love you Selena but I listen to Demi,” she tweeted, tagging them both. Then she retweeted a fan who wrote, “I love you Hannah [Montana], but I listen to Mikayla, referring to the guest character Selena once played on Hannah Montana. We can’t help but love this Disney fest!
