Yum! Kim Kardashian shared a vegan meal on Instagram and it looked absolutely delish (and filling!) The Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet has put a huge emphasis on her health and fitness over the past couple of years, and meat-free meals are a tool she uses to achieve her amazing figure.
“Plant-based life,” the 38-year-old captioned the hunger-inducing photo on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, May 29. The perfect little plate featured avocado toast (great choice, Kimmy!) and what looked to be two sausage links and scrambled eggs. Of course, it’s likely that the breakfast links and eggs were made of tofu or another vegan-friendly ingredient to make the entire dish plant-based. She washed the meal down with a “sea moss smoothie” that looked chock-full of nutritious ingredients.
Although Kim has never confirmed that she’s fully vegan, she obviously loves to keep her meals as plant-based as possible. Besides being a way to help lose weight, a vegan diet is nutrient-dense and can help lower health risks for certain conditions, like heart disease. In the past, the mom-of-four has been a fan of low-carb and high-protein diets like Atkins or Keto.
Her trainer, Melissa Alcantara, divulged that the KKW Beauty founder eats “real food that’s cooked (fresh) every day.” The fitness guru added during an interview with People last year, “Most likely if it comes out of a box, it’s not going to be good for you.”
A body is definitely made in the kitchen, but Kim puts in work at the gym as well. The Selfish author exercises “about an hour-and-a-half every single day” with her trainer. The brunette beauty told E! News last summer that she doesn’t spend that time hustling on the treadmill. “I don’t do a lot of cardio. I’ve been working out really hardcore with a bodybuilder for one year,” she explained.
Kim’s body is absolutely ah-mazing. All her hard work has definitely paid off!
