Miley Cyrus Sent A Sweet Text To Say ‘Someone Loves You’ After Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Broke Up
We stan two queens who are always supportive of each other. Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande have been longtime friends and, apparently, don’t even need real words to send a little love to each other. When Ariana and Pete Davidson were going through their very public breakup after an even more public engagement, Miley reached out to her pal to let her know that she was thinking about her.
During her most recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” singer dished on her and Ari’s sweet exchange. Miley also decoded what emojis really mean, so, if you’re trying to translate a text from your crush, look no further than the singer’s expertise.
“I’m an emoji person, so I just sent a bunch of hearts and the little cat with the heart eyes,” Miley explained. “I literally think I sent the cat with the heart eyes…I thought it was slightly, maybe even kind of making her feel good like maybe I was hitting on her a little bit.” We all need a friend like Miley in our lives.
“It felt like to me, it felt maybe like a little, ‘Oh hey, someone loves you. If it’s not working, here I am,” Miley continued. Ari responded to Miley’s emojis with one of her own. The “thank u, next” singer sent a slew of clouds as a response, which is a very Ari thing to do.
“It all said everything,” Miley said. “I think she was saying, ‘I’m OK, and I’m here. … Thank you for thinking of me.’ That’s what I think it meant.” TBH, we’re a little surprised Ari didn’t throw in a few black emoji hearts as well.
These two truly have a great friendship. Since Ari is dropping music at a rapid pace these days, maybe we could get a collab in the near future?
