Miranda Lambert’s Husband Brendan McLoughlin Is ‘the Most Romantic Guy’: ‘He’s Always Spoiling Her’
Happily ever after. Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, is “the most romantic guy she’s ever met,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “He’s always spoiling her with flowers and cute gestures.”
The “Bluebird” artist, 36, and former NYC police officer, 28, quietly got married in 2019 and announced the joyous news on Valentine’s Day. “Miranda and Brendan are more in love now than when they tied the knot,” adds the insider. “She’s on cloud nine and is so excited about the future and babies.”
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the Staten Island native quickly learned to adjust to his wife’s celebrity lifestyle. “It’s never easy being in the spotlight — with the constant traveling and being hounded by the press — but Brendan totally supports her every move,” the source notes.
Due to the outbreak, the pair’s schedule has cleared up considerably. According to the insider, Miranda and Brendan “couldn’t be getting on better” during their time in quarantine. “Having the extra free time on their hands has given them the opportunity to do fun things.”
In the last few months, Brendan and the “Tin Man” singer have taken road trips across the country and spent time with family. “It’s the most amount of time Miranda’s had off for as long as she can remember,” says the insider. “She jokes the trips she’s taking with Brendan are good preparation for their huge upcoming road trip – her tour! Brendan will be joining her on it; they’re inseparable.”
Brendan isn’t entirely naive to the ways of the road. In the past, he’s worked for entertainment events. In fact, that’s how he and Miranda first met. In 2018, the Texas native and her band, Pistol Annies, were appearing on Good Morning America while Brendan was hired to do security.
“My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back,” Miranda recalled to The New York Times in October 2019. “They plucked him for me. My security guy Tom, he was in on it, too. He said to me, ‘He’s here. And he’s pretty.’”
