The Mother of ‘Love Is Blind’ Star Tyler Francis’ Children Speaks Out: ‘Sperm Babies They Are Not’

The woman claiming to be the mother of Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis’ children has spoken out after he claimed to be a “sperm donor.”

“Yes, I am the mother of Tyler’s three children. I’m trying really hard to do this the right way, but I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has,” Bri Thomas wrote via Instagram on Thursday, October 10, with Jelly Roll’s song “Liar” playing in the background. “Especially in consideration of how patient and considerate I’ve been. I guess I have to speak on this, despite trying so hard not to. ‘Sperm babies’ they are not.”

“‘Sperm babies,’ Tyler? I guess I have to start dropping my own bombs,” she added over a photo of Tyler from the show.

Bri dropped her first bombshell hours later, sharing photos from Christmas 2022.

“We can start with the smallest lie regarding my ‘uninvolved’ children’s father. ‘I spent Christmas last year alone, cooking greens….’ Tyler did not spend Christmas ‘22 alone,” she wrote alongside a series of timestamped photos of Tyler. “He spent it at his mom’s with family, that included the oldest, Kyreaux.”

She later shared another video of Tyler with his three children taken a few days after Christmas 2022. In the footage, the young boy could be heard referring to the reality star as “dad.”

“‘Family… Holidays… what does that look like.’ Here a few videos three days after Christmas ‘22 (Filming occurred October 2023. Which makes this the Christmas before filming),” she captioned the post. “My children love their ‘Dad.’ To think that he has reduced them to ‘sperm babies,’ when I was told he was going on the show to be able to better provide for them, is the most absurd and hurtful thing ever. My kids don’t deserve this.”

Bri’s message comes one day after fans learned that Tyler, 34, didn’t reveal that he had fathered three children until two weeks before he was set to marry fiancée Ashley Adionser. However, Tyler claimed that he only donated sperm to “help a couple he knew” and was not involved in the children’s lives.

Ashley, 32, was devastated by the information, but she was under the impression that Tyler had no responsibilities when it came to the children.

“[They’re] not ‘your kids,’ but they are your kids,” Ashley told Tyler in episode 9. “And it’s with someone that you know. Now, that’s what? Three extra kids? Like, that’s wild. Who are these people? I feel like I should know that. ‘Here’s a picture. Here’s this, here’s that.’ I have nothing. You have yet to show me anything. ‘Here are the documents that say I’m uninvolved.’ I need to know everything.”

After Love Is Blind season 7 premiered on October 2, rumors began swirling about Tyler having children. Despite Tyler claiming to only have been a sperm donor, Life & Style exclusively revealed that may not be the case, considering his child custody case was reopened after Love Is Blind season 7 filmed.

Bri originally filed for custody in Baltimore City Circuit Court in October 2021, and the case was settled on May 6, 2022. It was then reopened in January 2024, with the next disposition hearing scheduled for November 15.

On top of that, Lovetta Thomas, a woman who claimed to be Bri’s mother, alleged that he had disappeared from the children’s lives once he began filming Love Is Blind.

Love is Blind Season 7… Washington DC…. Do Y’all know who this is??? Or where he is, cuz his 3 kids been looking for him!!!” Lovetta wrote in a Facebook post on Monday, October 7.

Storytimewithrikkii, a TikTok blogger also commented on Tyler’s paternity scandal and claimed that the nuclear security officer “scrubbed [his children] from his Instagram entirely when he found out he was gonna be on the show.”

While Tyler has yet to specifically address the situation regarding his children, he did tell E! News that he had “no regrets” about his experience on Love Is Blind.

“There’s maybe a couple conversations that could’ve been had at a certain time, who knows?” Tyler told the outlet in an interview published on Wednesday, October 9. “I can’t sit back and wish that I could change something. I’m living in the present.”
