Nikki Bella Adorably ‘Hesitates’ Calling the Couch ‘Ours’ in Sweet Video With Boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev
While Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev may have made their relationship official in July, it looks like they’re still getting used to sharing some aspects of their lives together — like couches LOL.
In a video the Total Bellas star, 35, shared on her Instagram Story with her beau on Tuesday, September 10, she jokingly called their hangout spot “the couch,” rather than calling it their own. “Hey everyone, look who I’m with. Back on the couch. It’s like our spot. Someone just got done filming,” she said.
“So did you guys notice how I said ‘back on the couch?’ I kind of hesitated. Cause I was going to say ‘our couch.’ And then I was like, ‘wait, maybe I shouldn’t say that.’ So I said the couch — with hesitation. I meant to say ‘ours’ but I said ‘the’ because that is too much!” The professional dancer, 37, didn’t seem to mind at all because by the end of the video, he said “our couch.” Aw!
Nikki and Artem have come a long way. In March, she admitted she was dating the Russian hunk, however, she hesitated to call him her boyfriend then. “Yes, we are dating,” she confessed on “The Bellas Podcast” at the time. “Yes, I spend the night at his house. Yes, we have date lunches at Joan’s on Third and we like to get food for his house — or should I say, produce from the farmer’s markets. So, let’s consider this rumor killed.”
She continued, “Artem and I are dating. We are not engaged, we are not married, we’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, we don’t say ‘I love you.” However, the circumstance changed once summer rolled around.
“We’re boyfriend and girlfriend,” the brunette beauty admitted on the July 17 episode of the same podcast. “We’re in a relationship!” These two have been going strong since. Relationship goals!
