Eventually, it might happen. Yeah, that’s what Nikki Bella said about potential wedding bells with her boyfriend, Artem Chigvintsev. It turns out that the 35-year-old is open to the prospect, but for the foreseeable future, she admitted “it’s just scary.”

“Oh, gosh no,” Nikki told E! at the 20th-anniversary celebration of WWE Friday Night Smackdown on FOX when asked if we should be expecting nuptials any time soon for the Total Bellas babe and her former Dancing With the Stars pro. Thankfully, she did affirm that she would be into the prospect when the time is right — which doesn’t seem to be right now.

“Marriage and babies are really scary for me right now,” the brunette beauty explained to the outlet. TBH, we don’t blame her. Even though Nikki and Artem, 37, are practically inseparable at this point, the relationship is still fairly new when you look at the calendar.

The dynamic duo first started turning heads with romance rumors in January, just six months after Nikki’s final split from ex-fiancé John Cena. By March, the former wrestler had confirmed her romance with Artem on the podcast she shares with her twin sister, Brie Bella.

“Yes, we are dating. Yes, I spend the night at his house,” she dished on “The Bellas Podcast” on March 27. “Yes, we have date lunches at Joan’s on Third and we like to get food for his house — or should I say, produce from the farmer’s markets. So, let’s consider this rumor killed.”

At that point, they weren’t using any ~official labels~ but by July, Nikki came clean again on the podcast. “We’re boyfriend and girlfriend,” she confessed during the July 17 episode. “We’re in a relationship! Why do I feel like I’m in high school right now?”

As far as the latest relationship progression for the pair, Nikki spoke with Life & Style exclusively to dish about how they ended up moving in together. “I was supposed to do a show in New Zealand right when my lease was up,” she revealed. “Then I couldn’t do the show but had given up my place, so I was like ‘Hey, can I live with you?’”

Just like their possible future marriage plans, everything is progressing at the speed it should. “It’s all happening very naturally,” she added. “We’re just in the moment, which I love. For the first time ever I’m just like, whatever happens, happens.”
