Jersey Shore’s Nikki Hall Teases Pauly D Engagement Rumors By Flashing Ring in New Video
Jersey Shore star Nikki Hall teased that she was possibly engaged to longtime boyfriend Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio Jr. by flashing a ring in a new social media video.
Nikki, 32, took to TikTok on Tuesday, January 14, to share a video of herself showing off a ring on her left hand ring finger as she held car keys in the same hand. After she flaunted the accessory and pointed at it with her right hand, Nikki turned away from the camera and got behind the wheel of a Mercedes that had a red bow on it.
“‘I just picked up something from Mercedes. It’s a 1 of 1,”’ she captioned the video, alongside a pink heart emoji wrapped in a bow.
While the video seemingly teased an engagement from the couple, the couple implied that Nikki bought the car for herself.
Shortly after Nikki uploaded the video, several fans rushed to the comments section to note that they thought Pauly, 44, had proposed before she revealed the car. “The only one I wished/hoped was an engagement ring,” one person commented, and another chimed in, “I thought Pauly D proposed.”
Meanwhile, others wondered why the couple had not gotten engaged yet. “Pauly taking too long to propose,” a third person chimed in. An additional fan added, “Girl don’t do us like that!! I was so hype for you!! LOL! Come on Pauly!!”
The couple met on the MTV show Double Shot at Love. After sparking a connection on the show, they took a major step in their relationship when they moved in together amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Nikki soon starting making frequent appearances on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. However, she stepped away from the show in 2022 after she got into a fight with costar Angelina Pivarnick during season 5.
She remained off the show until the second half of season 7 aired in 2024, where she and Angelina, 38, were forced to confront each other and ultimately worked through their differences during a September 2024 episode.
“It’s a little awkward seeing Nikki,” Angelina later reflected during the show’s October 10, 2024, episode. “Last time I saw her was when I turned the water into wine like Jesus Christ [and poured it on her]. But I think she’s over it. I think I’m over it. We hugged it out. She even made us shots.”
Meanwhile, his costars Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola previously opened up about how Nikki brought a different “dynamic” to the show while exclusively speaking to Life & Style in September 2024.
“It’s always great to see Nikki and she really fits in really well with the dynamic of the squad and I definitely think that we’re going to see a lot more of her, as well,” Mike, 42, said at the time. “I think Nikki is always authentic to herself, as well as all of the other cast mates. And that’s what’s so great about Nikki … She gives her opinion, she’s not afraid to do it.”
Sammi, 37, added that it’s “really cool” to see “Pauly in a relationship” since he was single for the early years of their friendship. “I’ve never seen that before. And Nikki just compliments him really well. They make a beautiful couple and it was fun having her there,” she said.
