April 2022

On April 14, 2022, rumors began swirling that the couple had called it quits amid allegations that the “Wave Gods” rapper had cheated with Fenty shoe designer Amina Muaddi. Though Amina quickly denied the “malicious” rumors and fashion influencer Louis Pisano apologized for spreading the rumor, the “Disturbia” singer and her beau have remained silent. 

April 2022

On April 16, 2022, the couple was spotted landing in the “Umbrella” singer’s home country, Barbados, clearly unfazed by the cheating rumors. Their visit to the Caribbean island comes just days after Rihanna told Vogue that she’d like to raise their child at “home.”

“Rocky asked me recently if I had a dream place, where would it be? I told him home, Barbados,” she said. “I always imagined it being that way.”

April 2022

On April 20, 2022, upon arriving back in Los Angeles from their Barbados getaway, Rocky was arrested at LAX in connection with a November 2021 shooting, the LAPD confirmed via a press release. The rapper and his pregnant girlfriend were arriving via private plane when he was taken into custody. 

Rocky was released on a $550,000 bond later that afternoon, In Touch confirmed at the time. 

May 2022

A source confirmed to Life & Style that Rihanna welcomed her and A$AP’s first child together in May 2022. The “Diamonds” singer gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles.

October 2022

Parents’ night out! The couple matched for a rare red carpet appearance while attending the Wakanda Forever film premiere.

The performer gushed about her feelings for Rocky, telling Access Hollywood, “It’s amazing to have a friendship be the center of our entire family, I really love it.”
She continued about motherhood, “[It’s] not a chapter, it’s like a new book. Life starts over when you become a parent. It’s life that you’ve never known before,” adding about their son, “When he looks at me in my eyes, my whole soul … I can’t tell if it’s cold or hot.”
The performer also gushed about her partner, telling the outlet, “It’s amazing to have a friendship be the center of our entire family, I really love it,”

The look of love! The rapper adoringly gazed at his talented girlfriend as they attended the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

A$AP looked on lovingly as Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. While on stage, the couple confirmed that they were expecting baby No. 2 together.

Later that same month, the “Diamonds” singer gushed over being “best friends” with the rapper in the couple’s British Vogue interview.

“We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship,” she added. “Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”

May 2023

Rihanna and A$AP looked incredible when they hit the Met Gala red carpet, even though they were *so* late.

June 2023

Wait, what!? A$AP called Rihanna his wife during the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the motherf–king building!” he told the crowd, before he and Rihanna reunited in the VIP section with friends after the show.

Reps for A$AP and Rihanna did not immediately respond to Life & Style‘s request for comment.

August 2023

Rihanna gave birth to their second child in August 2023, Life & Style can confirm. “They only shared the news with close friends and family,” a source revealed. “They just want to focus all their attention on their beautiful baby right now.”
