Almost time to celebrate! Kourtney Kardashian turns 40 on April 18 and the birthday wishes are already pouring in. Scott Disick gushed about how much he values his ex and the family they’re raising together. Another year older, another year of parenting goals.

“Happy birthday, Mom! Happy 40th,” the 36-year-old said in a birthday tribute released by E! that featured some of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast. “We wish you another happy 40 to come. Keep up the good work.” Kim and Khloé Kardashian can also be seen in the video sharing some hilarious stories about their older sister.

In the background, the couple’s daughter, Penelope, can be heard in the background saying, “She looks like a kid,” which made Scott note, “And you look very young, [Penelope] says.” The spunky 6-year-old quipped, “You look like a 1-year-old.”

Jokes aside, the dad-of-three wanted his baby mama to know that the whole family is grateful for her. He continued as he sat with their oldest son, Mason, “We love you so much. We appreciate everything you do and do for us,” he noted. “You are a wonderful, wonderful mom … Everything is awesome about you, Mom.”

Although the pair ended their nine-year-long relationship in 2015, they’ve stayed extremely close and work hard to co-parent their three kids — Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4. However, they spend so much time together that fans often question if the romance is really dead between them. “A lot of people believe they’re destined to wind up together again,” a source exclusively told Life & Style.

Since they split, Kourtney has dipped her toes back into the dating pool and had a two-year relationship with 25-year-old model Younes Bendjima. “The hot hookups with other guys have only made her appreciate him more,” the source continued. Although she’s had “fun playing the field,” the source notes that “ultimately, Scott is the father of her children” and “the only guy who’s ever truly gotten her.”
