The trailer for the new season of KUWTK has officially dropped and y’all, the tea is piping hot! During a particularly emotional scene, Scott Disick sits down with Kourtney Kardashian to discuss his relationship with his longtime girlfriend Sofia Richie. “I want you and Sofia to be comfortable, but it does take, like, a toll on me,” the reality star, 36, expressed to his ex.

In recent months, Kourtney, 40, and Sofia, 21, seem to have mended fences — ahem, they went on a family vacation to Mexico together — but that doesn’t mean that Scott still isn’t put in the middle. That said, the Flip It Like Disick star manages to be an incredible coparent to his three children — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4.

So much so, that he’s made it clear on a number of occasions that no matter what goes on in his romantic/personal life, the kids come first! “The truth is, my problems shouldn’t affect the kids,” the Talentless founder told Us Weekly on Monday, June 24.

“Just because their mother and I couldn’t make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn’t have anything to do with the kids,” he continued. “They don’t deserve our mistakes, so we figured out a way. We still need to be as honest and as good to each other as if we were together. Let’s raise these children together and that’s it.”

As for how his ladylove feels about all of this? Well, she’s handling it all in stride. “I mean, Sofia knew going into this that I was extremely close with Kourtney,” Scott explained to Khloé Kardashian in an April episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“She was like, ‘Listen, I will never get between you and your family and your children. Just speak to me and make me comfortable.’” Hmmm, there’s that word “comfortable” again! Here’s hoping Scott finds a way to alleviate the stress of balancing two women sooner rather than later.
