Stevie Nicks Wants Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to ‘Get Married and Have Babies If She Wants That’
Stevie Nicks is rooting for the ultimate happy ending for Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce, as the rock icon gushed about how she hopes they marry and start a family.
“She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” Stevie, 76, said of Taylor, 34, and Travis, 35, in a profile published by Rolling Stone on Thursday, October 24. “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset.”
The Fleetwood Mac legend is impressed by how the power couple has been able to maintain their high-profile careers while still making their relationship work, hoping they have it “all” in the future.
“He does his thing, and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her,” Stevie told the publication.
The “Stand Back” singer revealed how close she holds Taylor after the “Willow” songstress gave her a meaningful piece of jewelry.
“Do you see my little bracelet?” Stevie said while pointing to her gold engraved bracelet reading “TTPD,” for Taylor’s most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department. “I haven’t taken it off for almost a year.”
The “Edge of Seventeen” rocker had a special contribution to TTPD, writing a poem that served as a prologue to her longtime friend’s album.
Stevie revealed how she now considers Travis a friend as well, sharing a special gift with him.
“I like to design blankets. Cashmere blankets are my favorite thing. That is what I buy for my friends if there’s a special occasion. I bought Travis Kelce a blanket,” she told Rolling Stone.
Stevie got to see Taylor and Travis’ love first-hand when the trio hit up the Hacienda bar in Dublin, Ireland, following the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker’s final Eras tour show in the city on June 30.
The couple is still going strong after more than a year together, following Travis’ admission on his “New Heights” podcast in July 2023 that he tried and failed to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at her Kansas City Eras tour stop.
Taylor later revealed she found the admission “metal as hell.” The duo made their relationship public on September 24, 2023, when the Grammy winner attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Taylor told Time magazine in December 2023, after being named the publication’s Person of the Year.
The duo has continued to wow fans by their support for each other’s careers.
Taylor attended 13 games during Travis’ 2023 season with the Chiefs, including all of his playoff games. She even flew overnight from an Eras tour concert in Tokyo to make it in time to watch her boyfriend play in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11. It was well worth it, as the Chiefs won in overtime over the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor and Travis celebrated on the field after the win with passionate kisses that melted Swifties’ hearts everywhere.
In Travis’ offseason, he flew to three different continents to watch Taylor perform her Eras world tour, taking in shows in Australia, Singapore and Europe. He even joined his girlfriend on stage in London on June 23, donning a top hat and tux for her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” outfit change.
