Taylor Swift Subtly Supports Brittany and Patrick Mahomes After Couple Welcomed Baby No. 3
Taylor Swift subtly supported her friends Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes after they welcomed baby No. 3.
After Brittany, 29, took to Instagram on Monday, January 13, to announce that she and Patrick, 29, welcomed a daughter named Golden on Sunday, January 12, fans quickly noticed that Taylor, 35, showed her support by “liking” the post.
Taylor has gotten to know the couple well ever since she started dating Patrick’s Kansas City Chiefs’ teammate Travis Kelce in the summer of 2023. Not only has she watched several games with Brittany in private suites, but the couples have also gone on vacation together. In July 2024, Taylor and Travis, 35, spent time with Patrick and Brittany, as well as Summit Hogue and Miranda Hogue, during a trip to Amsterdam.
Meanwhile, Patrick previously revealed that Taylor has gotten to know his and Brittany’s two older kids, Sterling Skye, 3, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2, over the past year.
During an October 2024 episode of “The Drive with Carrington Harrison,” Patrick was asked if the “Cruel Summer” singer had ever baked for him or his family. He said that she “has never baked anything specifically for me,” though revealed that Taylor “made different treats that have been around my house — muffins and donuts and stuff like that.”
“Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes,” he continued. “I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them.”
In addition to getting to know Brittany and Patrick’s family, the quarterback also revealed that the “You’re Losing Me” singer is “really interested in football” and that she has asked “a lot of great questions” about the sport ever since she started dating Travis.
While appearing on an August 2024 episode of NFL on NBC, Patrick added that Taylor had been “drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in.”
It’s no surprise that Taylor has embraced Travis’ lifestyle and friends, as an insider exclusively told Life & Style that she’s looking forward to spending quality time with him now that her Eras tour is done. “After 21 on the road and a year-and-a-half with Travis, Taylor is ready for this next chapter to begin with the love of her life,” the source exclusively revealed on January 9.
The insider went on to share that the couple has “got a lot to look forward to, and they couldn’t be more excited about it.”
While Taylor missed some of Travis’ games due to her tour schedule, he confirmed that fans can expect to see her at the Chiefs game against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, January 18.
“Is there going to be an aura in that place, a little bit extra? You know what we’re talking about,” Pat McAfee asked the Ohio native during his appearance on the Monday, January 13, episode of the The Pat McAfee Show, referring to the “Shake It Off” singer.
“Oh yeah, you know it, baby. It’s playoff football, man,” Travis responded.
