Taylor Swift Was the ‘Definition of a Supportive, Happy Girlfriend’ at Chiefs Game, Says Fan
A Taylor Swift fan had a dream come true when she met the pop star at a Kansas City Chiefs AFC championship game.
Nicole Viscount, whose fiancé, Craig Parmenter, previously played football with Travis Kelce, was in the same private suite as Taylor, 35, at the game on Sunday, January 26. The Milton, Delaware, resident said she tried to stay “cool, calm and collected” when she met the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer. When Travis, 35, entered the suite after the game, Nicole couldn’t help but notice Taylor’s supportive nature.
“Once he was in the room, all she did was follow him around to take pictures of him with his family and friends, make sure that he had something to drink and was having a good time,” Nicole told the Delaware Journal in an article published on Wednesday, January 29. “She was the literal definition of a supportive, happy girlfriend.”
However, to her, meeting Taylor was an experience that might never be topped.
“I’ll cry right now just thinking about it,” Nicole told the outlet.
During their time in the suite, Taylor even asked to get a photo with all of Travis’ old friends. Afterward, the “Fortnight” artist said she would take a picture with anyone who wanted one, and Nicole seized the opportunity.
“She waited for me to fumble around with my phone, very graciously, and then she kissed me on my cheek,” Nicole said. “I will probably never wash my face again.”
While Nicole didn’t tell Taylor she was a huge fan when she introduced herself, Nicole said that the Miss Americana star “could probably tell just by looking in my eyes.” Craig and Nicole took a flight with Jason Kelce on his private jet to attend the game, and the next day Nicole said she was having a hard time wrapping her brain around everything that happened.
“It all kind of hit me. And then all day I was just giggling every once in a while because it all seems so surreal,” Nicole told the publication. “Today I’m just walking around my house trying to figure out how to be a normal person again.”
She also recalled the first time she met Travis and Jason, 37, during a University of Cincinnati alumni weekend during the spring of 2024.
“They are just the best guys. They’re so good at keeping up friendships from their childhood,” Nicole gushed.
Nicole joked that she’s “the most popular person in Delaware” after her interaction with the Grammy winner.
“People who I haven’t talked to in forever are coming out of the woodwork,” Nicole added. “It’s so funny because I would do the same thing if someone from my state met Taylor Swift.”
She also said that she described the moment as the “best day of her life” to Jason and he laughed before she clarified, “And I was like, ‘I’m being serious.’”
Taylor and Travis’ romance took the world by storm when they began dating during the summer of 2023. Since then, the couple has been very open about publicly supporting each other in their careers and Taylor has been cheering Travis on at multiple Chiefs games over the last two seasons.
