Um, did you forget something? Bachelorette contestant Tyler Cameron skipped out on a court appearance in Florida on August 6, right on the heels of his highly-publicized date with Gigi Hadid on August 4. His legal trouble began after his involvement in a car accident back on May 21. Despite being scheduled to turn up at the Palm Beach County courthouse, the stud’s Instagram Story showed that he was eating tacos and cookies in the Big Apple with his pal Matt James.

Tyler received a ticket for careless driving and got slapped with $166 fine after rear-ending a Ford F1-50 while behind the wheel of his 2005 Ford Excursion in Jupiter, Florida, according to public records. Him crashing into the pick-up truck in his hometown then caused that car to hit a third vehicle. Although he did not appear for his recent court date, he was ordered to pay an additional $60 fine and $106 in court fees. He doesn’t seem to have a car in NYC, but he’s still required to complete an eight-hour driving school course by November 4.

It’s unclear why the aspiring model didn’t jet back to Florida for his court date, but hopefully, this accident doesn’t loom over him any more than it needs to. Tyler has been under a magnifying glass since being spotted out with Gigi. The two were also photographed getting into the same chauffeured SUV while leaving Dumbo House — a branch of the members-only Soho House in the trendy Brooklyn neighborhood.

It sounds like the pair really started to hit it off. “I saw them at reception going up to Soho House. They were laughing and it seems like they were having a good time,” an eyewitness exclusively dished to Life & Style. The source also added, “It’s Gigi Hadid. Of course, Tyler was into it.”

Despite his legal hiccups, it seems like Tyler is doing A-OK in his personal life.
