Who Are Christina Haack’s Kids? Meet the HGTV Host’s 3 Children With Exes Tarek El Moussa, Ant Anstead
Christina Haack (formerly Christina Hall) has a beautiful blended family! The Christina on the Coast star shares two kids with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, as well as a son with her second husband, Ant Anstead. Though it took lots of work — and some messy arguments both in and out of court — Christina and her exes became skilled coparents over the years.
Who Are Christina Haack’s Kids With Tarek El Moussa?
Christina married Tarek in May 2009 after three years of dating. The former couple welcomed daughter Taylor in September 2010, followed by son Brayden in August 2015.
After the HGTV star and the real estate investor finalized their divorce in January 2018, he moved on with Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young), whom he married in October 2021. Heather became a stepmom to Christina and Tarek’s kids, and she and the Flip or Flop cohost welcomed their own child, a son named Tristan, in January 2023.
In May 2022, Christina, Tarek, Heather and Christina’s now-estranged husband, Josh Hall, made headlines for a public dispute on the sidelines at Brayden’s soccer game. Tarek was photographed pulling Heather by the arm away from Christina after a seemingly heated conversation. Additionally, later in the game, Tarek and Josh were seen getting in each other’s faces, and a soccer coach reportedly had to pull the men apart.
Christina and Tarek’s reps told Life & Style of the incident, “A personal matter was discussed and has since been resolved. We are focused on coparenting as a team moving forward.”
The confrontation came days after Brayden, who was 6 years old at the time, was admitted to the hospital to have his appendix removed in an emergency surgery. A source exclusively told Life & Style at the time that Christina and Heather had been arguing over the child’s healthcare at the soccer game.
“Presumably, Christina thought Heather overstepped her stepmom boundaries by giving her opinion regarding her and Tarek [El Moussa]’s son Brayden’s health issues,” the insider explained. “Voices were raised between the two women; some nasty comments were made and Tarek stepped in to tell Christina to back off.”
The source continued, “Josh got in Tarek’s face, and thankfully, one of the soccer coaches stepped in between Tarek and Josh. It was all a complete mess, tempers were at an all-time high, feelings were hurt, egos were bruised. It got ugly.”

Now, Christina, Heather and Tarek — who star on the HGTV series The Flip Off together — have fallen into a good coparenting rhythm.
“The point is it’s better for the kids when everyone’s getting along, and we genuinely are. And we’re genuinely having so much fun doing this show,” Christina said on The Jennifer Hudson Show ahead of The Flip Off’s premiere in January 2025.
Who Is Christina Haack’s Son With Ant Anstead?
After her divorce from Tarek, Christina moved on with Ant, whom she married in December 2018. The pair welcomed son Hudson in September 2019.
Christina and Ant finalized their divorce in June 2021, with the former spouses having shared custody of Hudson. However, in April 2022, the car builder filed for full custody of their son, claiming that his ex exploited Hudson on social media and was not a constant presence in the child’s life, Life & Style confirmed at the time.
“What Ant is doing deeply saddens me,” Christina said in a statement to Life & Style. “If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately.”
Ant’s request for custody was denied in April 2022, and the pair entered a messy 8-month-long battle filled with blows at each other online and in court. Finally, the former couple agreed in November 2022 that they would “continue to have joint legal and joint physical custody” as they originally agreed to do in 2021. They also worked out a holiday schedule and a plan for vacations.
