‘Pump Rules’ Star Scheana Marie Shares an Update on Her Dating Life — Past and Present
Keeping up with all the relationships on Vanderpump Rules is a full time job in and of itself, but star Scheana Marie‘s love life is the most complex of them all. She recently got real about some of the most monumental men in her life and clued us in on what her “relationship status” is now with each of them in an interview with Us Weekly on March 15.
First, the Bravo TV star spoke on her relationship with ex Rob Valletta, whom she dated right after her divorce from her ex-hubby, Mike Shay. If you’ve been watching season 7 of Pump Rules, you might remember the 33-year-old mentioning that Rob broke things off with her — but she admitted to the outlet the pair “lightly rekindled” their relationship “around the holidays” back in 2018.
“We hadn’t spoken in almost a year. I ran into him at a football game. We’re both Chargers fans. Very, very awkward, texted a little bit after. I really missed his dog,” she revealed. “That was the hardest part of the breakup, honestly. And he was just tugging on those heartstrings with his dog. Almost like, ‘Well, why don’t we take her to the dog park?'”
We get how that would be a bit of an aphrodisiac for her — hot guys and dogs are a dangerous combo.
“Long story, short, we had a great conversation. We’re getting back in a good place,” she continued. “We hung out a couple of times, and then he heard a rumor about me and instead of asking me if it was true, believed the person who told him. It was a completely convoluted, exaggerated story. And the fact that he just believed this person and cut me off so quickly after wanting to be back in my life, that’s just not someone I need around me.”
Welp. There goes that one. Honestly, good riddance, we say. We’re pretty sure any fan would remember how tumultuous the “Good as Gold” singer’s relationship was with Rob.
She also gave an update on her relationship with Bachelorette alum Robby Hayes, whom the Pump Rules star was first seen with back in March 2018. Viewers and fans even got a glimpse into their relationship during a January episode of the show, where we got to see them go out on a date. Weirdly enough, they’re now no longer speaking.
“I actually have not spoken to him since October, and it still baffles me because him and I were such good friends. We went to Hawaii together. We went on a few dates. We made out on that date, as you saw,” she said. “And then, he was on a trip in Mexico, we were texting and I was like, ‘I miss you. Let’s have a Robby-Scheana day soon.’ And he was like, ‘Yeah. I’ll be back tomorrow.’ … I’ve literally never heard from him again. It just is the weirdest thing to me.”
Um, bizarre, but also not totally surprising — being ghosted is a real (and weird) thing. As far as her current fling with SUR bartender Adam Spott, Scheana considers things to be “complicated” between them.
“We’re in the exact same place as we were where you’re watching the show right now,” she explained. “So, it hasn’t progressed, it hasn’t worsened. It’s just there.”
