WWE's Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan's Cutest Moments Over the Years

A match made in (WWE) heaven! Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan‘s romance dates back more than a decade, and the couple are still going strong. After meeting thanks to a wrestling “story line,” the parents to daughter Birdie Joe have shared countless cute moments and are set to welcome baby No. 2 later this year.

“It actually started as a story line and then we really hit it off,” Daniel — whose full name is Bryan Lloyd Danielson — told PW Mania in 2013. “Actually, it was shortly before our story line ended we kind of started dating each other. We kind of started off real slow, but now we’ve been together for two and a half years.”

Brie, 36, and Daniel, 38, got engaged in September 2013 and were married by April 2014. “I’ve married the man of my dreams. I’m officially Mrs. Danielson,” Brie wrote on Instagram at the time. “It was a breathtaking sentimental ceremony that we will be sharing with all of you soon.”

Their Sedona, Arizona wedding was filmed for Total Divas, a reality show Brie stars in alongside her twin sister, Nikki Bella. Just a few months later, the married couple were tossed into a second plotline in which Daniel was supposedly cheating on Bella, a story that Daniel called “stupid.”

“Yeah, to me, it’s groan-worthy,” he told IGN at the time. “I don’t think it added anything to the story. It was just like, ‘Ugh!’ But, you know, they do what they do, and you just gotta roll with the punches. … It doesn’t hurt my feelings or anything, you know? It’s entertainment. It’s not real, so okay.”

In an exclusive interview with Life & Style in March 2020, however, Brie admitted the past year has been “tough” for the couple. “I feel like because I’ve been a reality star for almost seven years now, I’ve really opened up my life and I’ve taken people on my journey from being engaged to getting married to giving birth on TV,” she divulged. “I think like any normal couple when you become a parent, you try to balance being a parent and your marriage and then also being a career woman.”
