This ‘Real Housewives’-Themed Christmas Tree Will Make Andy Cohen Jealous!
It’s a very Bravo Christmas for these Real Housewives superfans! Bryce Carson and his boyfriend Matthew Kluge used their love of all things housewives to put together the most epic Christmas tree that pays homage to all your favorites (past and present) and one-season wonders.
“My boyfriend and I wanted to create a tree that would be special to us,” Bryce tells Life & Style exclusively about the inspiration for the one-of-a-kind tree. “Matthew loves a kitschy tree and I prefer something themed and precise… The Real Housewives have been a huge bonding experience for us. We will always carve time out of our schedules to watch them and we love each and every franchise, well not New Jersey, so what better for our tree?” Watch the video below to see the tree in all its Bravo glory!
The tree features ornaments of all the over 100 housewives’ faces and ranks the famous ladies from naughty to nice. Divided into five tiers, the top tier includes MVPs Luann de Lesseps, Lisa Vanderpump, and Shannon Beador while at the bottom you can find RHOBH stars Kim and Kyle Richards because according to Bryce, “the Richards sisters will always get a lump of coal from us.” How can you not love the holiday pettiness?
The ornaments took about three to four hours to make and Bryce explains that the couple’s family and friends think it’s totally insane but perfect for them. Some housewives even reached out to show their love for the tree, with Real Housewives of Dallas star D’Andra Simmons even asking for her ornament (Bryce made sure to send her the whole RHOD cast)! And don’t think Bryce left out the international housewives — he made sure to include his personal favorites from Melbourne and Auckland.
To complete the tree, the place of honor at the top of the tree went to the one and only Dorinda Medley of RHONY fame. “I don’t think we had a choice on making anyone else the topper! Dorinda is the true Queen of Christmas,” Bryce adds. “No other housewife has ever been as into the holiday as Dorinda.” We’re obsessed.
