Hair today, gone tomorrow — that's Hugh Jackman's latest motto.
Just two days after he hosted the Tony Awards, the 45-year-old actor revealed his drastic movie makeover.
To prep for his role as Blackbeard in the latest Peter Pan film adaptation, Hugh shaved his head — and left the beard. He took to Instagram to show off his new look, with the caption, "Blackbeard is born. #PAN."
The Joe Wright-directed movie is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2015 and also stars Amanda Seyfried and Rooney Mara.
But if you think Hugh's transformation is jaw-dropping, just wait until you see these stars!
The father-of-four dropped a staggering 60 pounds to portray gambler Jim Bennett in the fictional film The Gambler.
“I went from 197 to — the lightest I’d ever been in a movie was in Boogie Nights, I was 138 — so I wanted to beat that,” he said. “I beat it by a pound, so 137. I was losing weight while we were shooting the movie, too, so continuity kind of went out of the window.”
