Dancing With the Stars pro Alan Bersten exclusively dished to Life & Style his holiday plans and a surprising New Year’s tradition that he wants to introduce to Bachelorette star Hannah Brown. The duo just won season 28 of the dance competition show and are hitting the road for the live tour in the next few weeks. Before that, the Minnesota native revealed that he may introduce the Alabama beauty to some of what happens at his house over the holidays.

The 25-year-old is Jewish and does not celebrate Christmas, but he and his family go all out to ring in the new year. “We really celebrate New Year’s. So New Year’s is a fun little celebration,” he explained while adding that “a Russian Santa Claus” appears every year on January 1.

“And there’s, like, a New Year’s tree. Literally the same thing as Christmas but no religious — I’m Jewish — but there’s no religious affiliation to it,” he continued. There are even “presents under the tree,” Alan divulged. When asked if he plans on sharing the tradition with Hannah, the dancer gushed, “Why not?” However, he noted that she will be back in Alabama for Christmas to be with her family. It sounds like a blast so hopefully, the Bachelor Nation babe, also 25, can swing by for the occasion.

Even if they skip the holidays together, the pair is scheduled to reunite for the Dancing With the Stars: Live! tour 2020 on January 28 for the performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. They will be joined by other celebs from the season, including , ,  and .

“It’s going to be awesome … It’s one of the most iconic shows we do,” Alan teased about the upcoming performance. “We’ve been lucky enough to be there before but to be there with Hannah and share this monumentous … Monumental? Just milestone in my life. Like, it’s so big and it’s so … it’s such an amazing experience to share,” he added.

The reality starlet worked extremely hard with her partner all season and Alan is pumped that they can share another exciting experience together. “I’m so glad Hannah’s going to be there for it,” he said.
