Amanda Seyfried Reveals Being ‘Overweight’ Has Affected Her Acting Career
When you look at Amanda Seyfried, it’s plain to see that she’s anything but overweight. But according to the actress herself, she’s almost lost out on movie roles because of her size.
“Fun fact: I almost lost out on several roles in my career because I was overweight. Wrong, America,” the she tweeted.
The Mean Girls star has been seen in New York City with Mark Wahlberg shooting scenes for Ted 2 looking slender with a brown belt accentuating her tiny waist.

“I don’t have to look like a supermodel. I don’t have to have those abs, the camera doesn’t see that. But because we have all been designed to want these things, I’m a victim of this stuff, too,” she said in an interview with Elle UK. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t constantly aware of what I’m doing with my body.”
