His little smile! Comedian Amy Schumer finally posted a new picture of her newborn son Gene‘s face and we practically shed a tear over the milestone image. The 33-year-old shared the precious pic on her Instagram on June 28, complete with a sweet caption.

“Here is our son Gene. He likes looking around and laughing at his toy the black and white butterfly. Always down for a nap and a good cry if the poops are on the reg,” the funny mama captioned a pic of her teeny son sleeping in dad Chris Fischer‘s arms with a smile on and his hand under his chin. “He wanted me to tell you guys he wants you to volunteer or donate here @immfamtogether.”

So many of Amy’s celeb friends commented on the sweet pic and let her know that it was practically illegal to have a baby this cute. “Omg 🙏🏽❤️,” Jersey Shore star Snooki commented on the perfect pic.

“Omg stop it 😭😩,” singer Demi Lovato chimed in, while actress Jennifer Garner added, “Beauty. And. Contentment. ♥️”

Even Bravo TV mogul Andy Cohen piped up with a “CUUUUUTE,” and needless to say, the love was there in the comments in spades.

It’s really great to see so much bonding and postpartum happiness from Amy since she had such a rough time throughout her pregnancy. Early on, the Trainwreck star was diagnosed with hyperemesis, a pregnancy complication characterized by severe vomiting. Because she was dealing with morning sickness to the max, Amy ended up postponing and then finally canceling her stand-up tour despite planning to work to term.

But since her pregnancy ended, she has remarked that all the complications that came with the diagnosis miraculously disappeared after she gave birth. Though that’s common and not actually a miracle, we’re sure that, for Amy, it felt like one.
